Homeowner Interrupts Burglary ~ Suspect Still At Large

WEST LINN: Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Gallery Way Monday, October 25th at 12:45pm to a burglary in progress. The victim returned to her home after being gone for a short time and found her dog acting odd. While she tended to the dog, she heard a very deep male voice she was unfamiliar with tell her to get down. She dropped her groceries and immediately fled her residence. She ran to a neighbor's and called 9-1-1. Police responded with the assistance from the Lake Oswego Police and a K-9 from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. These responding officers were unable to locate the suspect. Nothing was taken from the home. Entry was forced by breaking a window on the back of the home. "The victim did the right thing here" said Sgt. Neil Hennelly, "She distanced her self from the threat and called for help." If anyone was in the area of this crime and saw anyone acting suspicious the West Linn Police would like to talk with you. #### Contact Info: Sergeant Neil Hennelly 503-655-6214 ext 4498
