Press release date: Wed Feb 6th, 2013
WEST LINN –The City of West Linn has a limited amount of funding available for community organizations’ requests for support for their yearly events, operations, and activities. Community organizations are asked to submit a standardized form so all requests received by the City of West Linn can be similarly evaluated during the community grant allocation process for fiscal year 2013-14. The biennial budget includes an allocation to qualifying organizations.
Neighborhood Associations are not eligible for this program as they already receive NA stipends. The grant request form is designed for community-based organizations that are interested in receiving grant funding for specific, planned events and activities occurring between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014. Although the City budgets on a biennial (two-year) basis, the request must be submitted for each of the fiscal years. The selection Criteria and fillable version of the Application Form is linked here.
Grant request forms are due by March 20, 2013. Forms must be emailed to email@example.com.
Submitted forms will be evaluated by the citizen members of the Citizens' Budget Committee and grant allocation recommendations will be forwarded to the City Council for their approval at a June 2013 City Council meeting.
Questions about the grant request form can be directed to Kirsten Wyatt in the City Manager’s Office at 503-657-0331 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
