Councilor Brenda Perry

City Hall: 503-657-0331

Home: 503-742-8662

Term: January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2018

I was elected to the West Linn City Council for the term beginning in January 2015.

In 2010, my husband and I moved to Oregon and chose to live in West Linn, because we loved the strong sense of community and quiet tree-lined streets.  We are both originally from the UK, but 1982 we decided to make our home in California when my husband changed his career.  We have three grown sons, two living in California and one in New Zealand.

I trained as a nurse at Kings College Hospital in London almost 50 years ago and obtained my RN licensure before emigrating to the US. I worked first for many years as an Emergency Room nurse and then later as a Coordinator and Project Manager in Clinical Research.  My most recent employment was as Clinical Research Program Manager for Medtronic Diabetes, from where I retired in 2013.

Since relocating to West Linn, I have served as a Neighborhood Association officer and also participated in Planning Commission and City Council hearings on various city-wide issues.  I am a strong advocate for education and for the past four years have volunteered my time teaching math for GED to adult education students at Clackamas Community College.

I hold a BS (Summa Cum Laude) and MS in Nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
